Alex Clark is a Louisville, KY native, graduate of IU Bloomington and after spending a few years in Brooklyn, NY, returned to Louisville in 2010. Alex was a member of successful Louisville band, North Jordan, in the early to mid-2000’s, opening for bands such as Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s, Hootie & the Blowfish, Vertical Horizon and others, Alex released his first solo album, Eternal Storybook Land, in 2007.

Since his time in New York, Alex has become a composer for television, radio and film. Alex had a song from his 2014 album, Toy Tiger, included in an episode of NBC’s Parenthood in January, 2014, and most recently had four songs from Toy Tiger and the Big Coat/Big Jeans single featured in the Alex Ross Perry film, Golden Exits, starring Jason Schwartzman, Adam Horovitz (Beastie Boys), Emily Browning and others. His song, Travel With Me, was also featured in the Golden Exits trailer.

His 2018 solo album, Return to Storybook Land, was an eclectic mix of catchy hooks, pop, rock and folk that combine into an album full of fun songs and imagery. And stay tuned, because 2020 has new music in the works!
